In August I saw an online video promising insightful investing information in the book, "AFTERSHOCK". It was the beginning of volatile markets and for $4.95 I thought I had nothing to loose; WRONG. I needed answers right away, but the book didn't arrive until a month and a half later. The information in it was WHACO and of no use to me. Then, I started getting buried in newsletter and advertisement e-mails. Most of it bordered on the bizarre, and I didn't even find them entertaining. I replied back multiple times to unsubscribe, and I thought the matter was closed. Then I got my Visa statement with a $99. charge for Gold Stock Adviser on 12/15/2011. I called their customer service number right away, and got a phone message that they will call me back. I'm still waiting, but from what I see on the internet I don't think they'll call me back. I'm going to try e-mailing Newsmaxes customer service. If I don't get an timely answer, I'll write to Visa to cancel the charge.
