Was calling Priority Rewards and was diverted to assist123. I thought i was still on hold for priority rewards. They said they would connect me but wanted to offer me a "free" $100 gift card for use at Walmart or Best Buy. I only had to pay processing of $2.95. After I gave my debit card #, the call got weird. I started asking questions and the phone would make a noise like they were stopping it from being recorded. The gift card turned into a rebate. I said i didnt want this and nevermind. the woman said "we already have your credit card and it has been charged. I said I am calling my bank, i dont like how you've changed the "promotion" details. she said" call whoever you want, we have your credit card number!" I immed. called and cancelled my card but can not be refunded the $2.95. I learned my lesson and luckily it only cost $3 to do so!
