I recieved a cashiers check for 2050.00 dated 12/09/2011. The instructions toldme to deposit the check in my account, withdraw 1400
00 to send to Western Union 150.00 Western Union service fee, 200.00 to spenfat Best Buy, K-Mart or a Wal Mart and I should keep 300 for a Participation wage. I deposited the check into my account. I notified my bank after my friend notfied me that this is a scam luckly
I didnt spend any of the fraudulent funds. These dishonest scammers got my nsme and information from a website to help single mothers. Beware!!

- Yea same thing came my way and you called the number too? Yes they told me it was 100 real. Look where they are based and now look them up you find nothing.

Thanks guys for spotting this scam that is being done using Redshifts name! We certainly don't send out unsolicited cheques, all our respondents get paid via PayPal.
Western Union informed us that once the money is wired and picked up, there is no way to retrieve it. The person who picked up the money is using a fake ID.
The offer looks too good to be real becasue it is!!! We don't know who this Albert Sims- VP of Operations is. He cetainly doesn't work for Redshift Research.
We do have a NY office, but we don't send official emails using gmail.
Our UK online panel (Crowdology) is genuine, but please ignore any chques sent to you in the post.
