  • Hey Parker1988 - my gf just ordered something from nbafanjersey.com and it was the same deal. We tried to call the bank right after and they said we have to wait 72 hours to dispute which is ridiculous because we know we fell for a scam. Did they actually take the out the correct amount from your credit card right after you purchased? We're worried they'll steal the identity or charge more and more. Can you please keep me updated on what's going on? I'll keep you updated what happens with our purchase also. Best of luck.

    Sean -

  • Hi Sean,
Thanks for the feedback i have a quick update, to sort this problem out as quickly as possible i went to my local bank branch to resolve it, i was told that unfortunately because i had authorized the payment from said card i would have to wait 30 days before making a dispute claim to where the money went, like i said before i really had no leg to stand on because i did infact authorize the payment via direct debit, luckily because only the 16 digit number plus security code was given on the back, i can now cancel my card and just get a new one through which potentially will solve the problem, the fraud team are keeping a close eye on what happens to my account, i was just told to keep hold of any email or documentation sent to me, and the fraud team are aware of this problem aswell, word of advice before cancelling make sure you get your money out first as you wont be able to use your current card anymore!! so on Thursday i have to sort this out, all in all a really big pain in the ass, but hey thats life! and the term 'you would never think it would happen to you' springs to mind! :)

    Cheers
    Richard
