I did some online shopping as I normally do. Usually with no problem but after making a purchase on Amazon.com today my checking account is missing 193.63 from this fraudulent company. I called the number on the back of my debit card to place a hold on my account until I can reach my bank's customer service during business hours. Very scary. I am definitely turned off from online shopping due to this experience. I have shopped amazon for years with no problem until now. I have all the bells and whistles installed..antivirus..firewall, etc...yet they were still able to steal my information from a seemingly legit company. Is anyone going to put a stop to this or look into prosecution? I am personally taking it as far as I can starting with amazon first. This ridiculous. Shop online and get violated...no thanks.

  • Kfullofhope: Let us know how and if this was resolved. Was Amazon helpful? Thanks. I am just interested because I have other issues that are similar.
