After reading these posts, I have a feeling the so-called $4,200 "credit line" I was "approved" for won't be a reality and that I got screwed as well. I filled out an application online and was first told I was approved for $1000 with a $69 fee, but there was some problem with their system and I couldn't submit my payment... What's funny is, I hit the close button, and the fee got reduced to $39 and I had my "line of credit" double to $2100!!!..I was like WOW!.. I hit the back button and listen to this... the fee got down to $29 and I now was offered a really generous $4200 "credit line"... I called to confirm they received my payment and made a point to ask: "So when I get the card I can go to Best Buy or Sears and charge a new TV, correct?" and the guy said "Yes of course, the main limitation is that you can't take cash advances and that APR is 24.99%”. Now 25% interest ain’t so hot, but having a pretty nice chunk of credit is still nice when you simply don’t have the cash on hand to make many major purchases, so I’ve been impatiently waiting for my card for almost 2 weeks while the Christmas sales keep passing me by and was hoping to receive it sometime this week. But, I get the sinking feeling that even if it does come by some miracle of nature, it will wind up being just a big lump of coal in my stocking…

Now as someone mentioned, I called today to inquire about the status of my card, and there's a message saying ther phone system is being updated between "Dec 12th and the 16th" (so they already have themselves covered through Friday... Gee what a co-inck-i-dinck!!

They have an “F” rating on the BBB website… My question is, with such an abysmal rating and so many similar complaints, how and why on Earht has this company been allowed to remain in business in spite of committing such blatant and obvious thievery?
