I signed up for the visa flex card program as well and paid the program fee plus the $29 to double the credit limit. I also paid for a friend to do this as well. Before I paid for it, I checked it out for a while, and called to verify the information. Everything seemed legitimate, except for one of those gut feelings that it was too good to be true. I did it anyway because I really needed the money for Christmas, and to get out of the financial rut I have been in. I was told I would receive my card in 7-10 business days. It has been 9 business days, and I have not received anything. I called last week to confirm it had been sent, and was told it had not been, but that I should wait the full time. That being said, every time I tried to call after ordering my card, I would get a busy signal, and finally I would get through to someone. They did tell me that it was an actual VISA card with an unsecured line of credit, and that I could use it on purchases anywhere. The person I spoke to each time seemed annoyed that I had called, but they always had answers for my questions, and I figured it was just people who didn't like their job in a call center, as I have worked in one before. However, I then tried to call today, 12/12/11 and the recording says that they are updating their phone system and cannot receive calls for the remainder of this week. This CANNOT be legitimate. If they were, there would always be a way to contact them, or a department of their company. This is why I believe I have been scammed along with the rest of you. I wish I had found this website before today, before I signed up for this! I don't have enough money to lose that much of it, and I doubt anyone else with poor credit does either, as it makes it difficult to buy anything in this country, and you always end up paying out the nose to get what everyone else who has money/good credit gets for free half of the time! If this really is a scam, this company has just ruined millions of families' Christmases.
