In reply to Independent-woman, I was also contacted by this same scammer, posing as a single dad to one daughter, Stephanie,8 yrs old. He did the same things with me, all the romantic messages, videos and plans for the future. I never allowed myself to be 100% vulnerable with him, because i've discovered that these types of scammers haunt Blackplanet. He also goes by the name of Steve Benson Taylor, which i doubt very much is his real name. He has a heavy accent, like someone from Africa, so i've always had my doubts about him.
I did fall for him, based on the things he was telling me. I asked him time and time again if the photos were real, and he kept on saying they were his photos. Turns out this guy is a model (Chris Gaddy) and is definitely not him.
I am fortunate, because he never got around to asking me for money, but i know that was next on his agenda. He claimed his father was wealthy, re-married and left nothing in his will when he died. He is due to have 'an appointment' today with his 'step-mother's lawyer' today, to get information on the will/inheritance. I'm sure all the bull crap excuses would be coming at me next after this so called 'meeting'.
I was shocked by what i found this morning but not entirely, because there were too many questions unanswered and things weren't adding up in my mind. I was going to reveal what i'd discovered this morning, but i have a little trick or two up my sleeves. Lets see how he reacts when the roles are reversed and i'm the one asking for a lil cash!lool.
Im a meticulous person, with children to protect. Because of this, it lead me to search the net for him, but could never find anything. I even paid to search online and still nothing, until i decided to search again via his 'picture'. The main picture he's using on BP didn't reveal any results. Its the additional stolen photos that brought up info on this sexy model.
Im writing this to warn everyone about this guy, he's smooth and will make you believe him, especially when he calls and says those beautiful words any woman wants to hear. The saying goes, if its too good to be true, then it is!!!!!!!

Hi Ladyillusion 7, I am glad that my online posting of this creep helped you not to end up like me. I have slowly recovered, but I am still bittered, and by golly I will catch him, even if it takes me years. Yes he would have eventually asked for money, by your note above, it was imminent. After the visit to the attorney, then the surprise of learning that he was left 1.5 million dollars in Malaysia, and the difficulties after of getting this money.
The mother, who is probably his girlfriend in crime is in on it too. This was my 1st time exposed to BP site, with genunine intensions all my life, I did not expect to find such dishonest people. Friends have told me how they had met their partners/husbands online and was happy with the results. I had met good friends in unusual situations and settings too, and friendships that have lasted. I was not prepare for this outcome, had be brought up pretty sheltered I guess, too trusting. Having an open and healthy mind has always worked for me, but now it's different. You know when I first started communication with him, I had asked him what brought him ot BP, his reply was, that one of his clients had invited him to her wedding, and knowing that he was single, gave him the site to try his luck in finding a partner, as she had found her husband through the same site. All along he promised that he would pay back what he had borrowed. He used statements when I questioned and refused such as, 'money is the root of all evil, don't let it come between us," I have never lied to you, and will not." Along with other things etc etc.
What happened was I thought with my heart, instead of my head. Now that will never happen again. He has spoilt it for any one who comes after. You can reach me at this email, I would like to compare some things with you. [email protected]. I'm not afraid to leave this with you. -
