I have been asked to send money to obtain a loan. The money is to be sent to Florida for loan funds to be put into my account. I asked for clarity and got none so I do not trust this company. The money is to be sent to Sherwin Lewis, Miami FL, Ph 1-954-354-9340, The phone no. is not a working no. Don't know if this applys because i refuse but I have all the e-mails to catch these people if you want to persue it. I was searching for online loans and got an email saying that I was preapproved by a Tracy Anderson

I unlike you fell for it. I had a working number though, it is a phone number through Phonepeople.com. I spoke to a Kathy Webster. I actually sent them money and a week later still have no loan.
I also have e-mails from them - I have a loan application and all. I want to catch these people. To do this to people and to top it off just before the holidays - they can not have a conscience. -

- I'm like Sylvie....I fell for it too. Same thing I have a working phone number and by the way isn't this grand larceny? I would love to catch these people and put them right where they belong. Do you have the information so I can persue going after them? I'm not going to sit back and do nothing.

- I also was duped. I was supposedly approved for a $7500 loan, and I was only able to send them $400. Then they asked for another $600, at that point, I just requested a refund, and they stated that they would mail me a check, but I have no received it. What a horrible play on us!!! What do we have to do to get back at them...??

- I filed a complaint with the FBI Cyber crime on line as well as the Federal Trade Commission. I was doing some research on them as well as Mitchfield Gray (apparently they go under that name as well) and I am amazed at the number of people that they scammed. I suggest you file a claim with the same organizations that I did as well as your local police. I agree...these people need to be stopped.

- can you post the number forFBI cyber crime? I'm in Canada and need to get my money back :( $1000 gone with the promise that it would be sent back. I spoke with Tracey Anderson and some woman named Ruth. I as well have tried to call and the phone # is now not working.

Michele...I feel for you. So many people are getting ripped off by them. Here is the website that I went to, to file my complaint. http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/cyber/cyber
Please do the same thing. I put in my report that other people have been scammed by them. The more people who file I think we stand a better chance of them doing something.

- Hi Michele, I also am in Canada and have filed complaints on the same sites - I have also filed complaints with the CAFC - Canadian Anti-Fraud Centre. I was also told if you provided them with any information it is important to notify equifax or other credit bureaus. This has been a really horrible ordeal and it is important that we stick together and do as much as we can to get them so we can maybe get our money back and stop them from doing this to other people. They need to pay!

- Thanks guys :) I have just submitted my complaint to this site http://www.fbi.gov/about-us/investigate/cyber/cyber. Lets hope we can get them and get money back! I don't have 1000 to spare :( If I did I wouldn't have applied for a loan, thats for sure!!!

- Yes. Thanks for the heads up. I also just noticed that the area where they had the phone number for customer service has been removed. I am really hoping that we can get our money back, because times are too hard to give it away...and these people are offering secured loans. The website is also being updated daily with the day's date. I want justice!!

- I also did look on the Mitchfield Gray website too. Just Despicable!! And their logo is the same for both websites. Also, I plan on reporting them to the BBB. There has to be a way to get our money back!!

- Still no luck on my end :( I am so frustrated with losing my money. I have 2 kids to support and I get it, I was stupid and fell for a "secured" loan... secured in the sense that they secure your funds so that you never ever see the money again. let me know if you guys are able to get anywhere. I don't even care about pressing charges, I just want to get my money back :(
