I thought I would try out this new internet that claims they have no cap on the speed and that if you get a good signal (I had 5 bars the highest) you could very well get up to 20 mbps and their was no contract which sounded to good to be true. So I bought the thing on a Friday night Nov. 11 and got it Monday the 14th by Fed Ex. The website says you can cancel after 15 days of activation and get a full refund. Well I thought activation was when you received the device and called to activate the WiFi modem. I bought their highest modem at $100 which included the wifi in it. It would get 2 to 3 mbps and then they said we would have to go out and buy adaptors to make the computers go faster. I live about a quarter of a mile from a cell tower and a couple of miles from another one. I wanted whole home internet wifi and it was going to cost me another hundred to get set up with adaptors and such just to get the signal to all of our devices. The signal was full bars and my smartphone could pick it up about less then 10 feet away but only 1 bar when not so close and it was also impossible to get good signal with our dish satellite. We could not stream movies and it buffered alot. So I called to cancel and they would not cancel me and it took forever for the agent to finally cancel me. I had already ordered another service and just wanted to cancel. She was trying to hard to "save" me as a customer and it was really getting annoying and I thought for a minute that she was not going to cancel me at all. She kept saying "don't worry, everything will be alright in the overseas annoying voice, over and over! I asked for a real shipping label in the mail and a email shipping label to print out as well and she said that I should receive the shipping label within 2 days and the email within 1 day. Well needless to say I waited and waited and called back on Dec. 5th and they said that my service was still active!!!!! And that they had no record that I called on the 28th!!!!! Well I was furious and said I had a reference from when I called on the 28th. They changed their minds and then they said that the 28th was over the 15 days of activation and that the system did not cancel me and I would not receive a full refund and they were so sorry but, "would I want to cancel today instead so the system could automatically send me a cancel notice and shipping label?" I said no way you guys are just trying to get me to officially say I cancelled today when in fact I canceled on the 28th. After a few agents I was finally transferred to a "supervisor" and he gave me his ID and assured me that I would get a full refund and that actually "activation" means the first time you sign up and buy their stuff and that he would extend my "trial period". He said he was not able to send me an email to guarentee my refund and that his ID number will be enough if I don't get a full refund to call back. Right now I am out of this money and would have gotten it back way sooner if they had Excellent customer service, money I could have for the holidays. BUYER BEWARE THIS SERVICE MAY ONLY BE GOOD IF YOU ARE NOT IN A POSITION TO HAVE CABLE OR ATT OR A GOOD INTERNET AND PERHAPS WANT MOBILITY HOTSPOT BUT NOT GOOD FOR WHOLE HOME INTERNET STREAMING MOVIES, XBOX AND MORE THEN ONE COMPUTER!!! ALSO THE ACTIVATION STARTS THE DAY YOU BUY AND THEY WILL PROBABLY NOT CANCEL YOU, MAKE SURE YOU GET THE SHIPPING LABEL THE NEXT DAY AND THEN KEEP CALLING. BUT IF THEY DIDN'T CANCEL YOU THEY WILL TRY AND TELL YOU THAT YOUR 15 DAYS ARE UP AND NO FULL REFUND!!!
