I was contacted by Jason Black from "New Atlantic Solutions" stating I qualified for $5000.00 but I had to wire in $671.07 to receive the funds within 3 hours. Everywhere I have looked it says to never send in money to secure a loan so I asked Mr. Black to just take the $671.07 out of the $5000.00 he said that he couldn't do it because it would go against the contract. This person is still contacting me but I have yet done anything I need the loan but I am afraid that I am being scammed.

- kekb19, did you take the plunge? contracts are easily re-written...i think i'm dealing with the same people and red flags are everywhere. i googled the address they sent and checked the street view, looks like an apt complex...maybe we can compare notes before we both get scammed.

- I have not as of yet I am nervous that it is a scam and I do not know how to confirm if the company is legit. I could really use the loan but I do not have and extra $671 to just throw away if it is a scam.

- I know what you mean. I have been trying to research them and the so called insurance company, but not having much luck either. Only thing I can say is never pay upfront.

Ok, I'm the dumb one. I sent in money. My credit sucks and I was hoping this loan would get me consolidated. After i sent it in they immediately called me and said they couldn't issue my loan because I still had not paid the broker fee! So I asked for a refund. I also asked for the refund to be out in writing. I did recieve the refund notice VIA email. I will post back if I get it or don't.
Curious were you told of an additional brokers fee up front?? -

- No they didn't mention a broker fee unless that is what they meant by a down payment and insurance. I emailed them back that I would not be paying anything upfront after they sent me a "contract". They have yet to respond.

- I was not told anything about a Brokers Fee either, I was stupid enough to fax back in the contract with all of my personal information but after thinking about it I chose not to send the money I figured if they needed the money to get my loan going they could just take it off the top which they refused and that was the big red flag for me.
