I applied for a grant online on a website. I was called by an associate who said I qualified for a grant. the number of the company that called me is 347-468-9424. she told me that I qualified for the grant and needed to pay a verification fee of 190.00 dollars to prove my idnetity and send it western union to a man named Anvil in Delhi, India. I sent that money western union on 7/5/2011. I expected to get my grant money.
Then was told that I needed to send more funds for matching funds for a categorical federal grant to the tune of 468.00. I was mad and told them no I should not send any money. The told me that I would not get the grant util I sent them 468.00 I did not have that money. I was called back by a gary weston at 1 202 684 3503. I called back two days later and said that I had 290.00 of the 468.00 requeseted and Gary told me that he would make up the 178.00 using his money so that I would get the grant. He said wait 10 minutes and it would be there. I waited 24 hours and no money. I have called and asked for my money back and been told that his superviors said the make up money cannot come from him and I have to pay the 178.00 remaining. I asked him for my money back I did not want the loan and to jsut give me the money back. He has since put me on hold several times and tells me he cannot send it back..I have called and spoken to him many times and he puts me on hold and then makes me wait and refuses to come back online.
