Complaint 40503 Details

My password was changed around 10 pm on Nov. 23, and my entire contact list (among others) was sent an email saying I was stranded in Aberdeen, everything stolen, contact this email address. When one of my friends did that, they were told to wire money via Western Union. They didn't get far enough to obtain any more details. Still waiting to hear from Google/Gmail to see if they can restore access to my account. Here is the email (even signed as I usually do!):

Hope you get this on time, I made a trip to Aberdeen,Scotland for a
Volunteer Training Program(VTP) and had my bag stolen from me with my passport, credit cards and mobile phones in it. The embassy is willing to help by letting me fly without my passport, I just have to pay for a ticket and settle Hotel bills. Unfortunately for me, I can't have access to funds without my credit card, I've made contact with my bank but they need more time to come up with a new one. I need you to lend me some quick funds that I can give back as soon as I get in. I really need to be on the next available flight.
