Received a letter stating that I had been approved for a $10,000 grant and I received the first check of $975.41 to be cashed on the 16th of Nov. In return I had to mail out 4oo letters offering the grant service to people from a mailing list. On this list there were 420 names and there were monitoring names on this list and if they could not confirm that at least 2 out of 4 names had received a letter by Nov 9th they would cancel the post dated check and it would not be cashable on the 16th. In order to be sure that the four names weren't in the extra 20 ones I mailed out 420 letters. I reported assignment done on the web site like I was suppose to and on the 16th I deposited it into my checkings account. Well due to this I had paid somethings and then long story short the check was no good and I have had to pay overdraft fees and other charges to my bank cause they were unable to verify funds of the check. I receive disability and should have known better but I lost my father last month and I figured this would be a good way for me to be able to help my mother. Now not only am I unable to help her I will be loosing my vehicle because I am unable to pay my payment.
