My daughter apllied for a loan with 123wages out of Astoria, New York. She was refused because she didn't have a checking account, and her name was not on mine so she couldn't use mine as portal.
Imagine my surprise when I checked my account and see that 123wages had deposited $200 in my account without contacting me first. I imediately got on the phone to my bank and had the money sent right back to them. Seven days later 123wages got into my account and took $200, plus $79. Then six days later they(123wages) got into my account and took another $30. What is this for? So now I am out $309. Plus overdraft fees. A very expensive lesson!! Never deal with a payday loan company that is not Government Regulated. They are only leaglly allowed to take fees in the amount, and no larger than 15.5% per $100.
