Belmont Dental and Caliber Towing

This past Saturday night I went to one of the lounges in my home town in Haledon, NJ. I was there to support a friend from the area playing with his band. I arrived about 8:25pm and parked in a lot across the street that is used by Belmont Dental (obviously closed at that hour, open M-F) There are tenants that live above the office for which there is parking against that building. There is a sign on the garage next to the Dental office that says no parking Across the lot, next to Zizzo's Auto Body (also closed) there is additional parking so I parked there next to 2 other vehicles. By 8:30 a tow truck came to tow me away and took my car away almost running over a friend that tried to speak with the driver. We contacted the police to ask if this was legitimate. They finally came and said that they have been having problems with them for a long time, when asked if there knew where they would tow my car, they said they had no idea. I called the phone number displayed and it was forwarded to a cell phone voicemail. I left a message but no one called me back. At about midnight after someone else got towed, they found the location (in town) and that we would have to come with cash in order to get our cars back. Although, the sign on a garage by the Dental office read $150 for towing and $40 for storage. When I arrived the amount was $260 or no car! And to opt it off the same police officers that came to the parking lot were amazingly present here also. I took pictures of all locations and have a "receipt" for the cash expended. I was unable to attach the pictures on this. Thank you so much
