Did not pursue the scam so do not have any monetary damages. Just wanted to report that a few mintues ago I received a text message which references Oct. 30, 2011; 2200h; www.gmail.com - one hour later on the same day that I set up my gmail account.
The text message states: ``Congrats! You have been picked to test out the new iPad 3 and keep it! Get it at http:www.gmail.com``
