I got a payday loan over the internet and a few days later I got a call from one the representatives from express platinum. She described the details of the card, told me that I could use it anywhere, what a bold faced lie, and explained I would be charged $20.00 a month and to get that rate locked in I had to sign up now. I asked okay so I only pay $20 dollars to start and she said no you have to pay a $99.00 start up fee. I said I don't have the money so I cannot pay today. She said that is okay, you can authorize the payment anytime by calling our customer service number. I said okay and she gave me the number stating that you will not be charged until you call our customer service number and authorize the transaction, and I said okay. At the time I was thinking about saying yes, so when she asked can I save your information to lock in your $20 a month charge I said yes. After thinking about it, I didn't take down the number because I decided I did not need anymore debt. Well what do you know, to my surprise my account was debited $99.00 from, guess who, express platinum, without my authorization. So basically they stole from me. I don't know if they record the conversations, but I would like to bring a lawsuit against them if possible for their fraudulent activity. If anyone else wants to see where this goes, we can band together and maybe put a hurting this this company!!!!
