I went to the store and found out that the little bit of money I had left in my bank account was gone and my account was in the negative! How embarassing is that? I immediately went home and checked my account online, to see that Direct Funding Service withdrew $30.00 and a week before, deposited 3 cents into my account and then withdrew it. I tried calling them all morning, but received automated stage voicemail greetings saying that they are having difficulty at this time, please call back later. Finally, after three phone calls, I get a man on the line with a strong African accent. I could not really hear what he was saying and I asked to speak to a supervisor. No supervisor available, told me that I signed up for a payday loan and this was the one time membership fee. I told him, I did no such thing. He wouldn't help me so I threatened him by saying that I would complain to the BBB and to my bank and I will get my damn money back!
