I seen a 2002 Honda Accord listed on Craigs list for $1600. I contacted the owner @ rita36GMX.COM i waited for a response. She responed and I told her I was interested in purchasing the car. She told me she would sale me the car but the car was in Pittsburgh and she was in Canada where she and her husband just relocated to. She said she would make arraignment to come her so we could complete the transaction. I get a Email from her later telling me that she does not want to drive all the way here and I change my mind about the purchase. She explained to me there is a thing called Google checkout were they hold the money as a third party until the car is delivered and I have 5 days to inspect the car and see if I want it or not. If I decide to keep it I let Google know to release the funds to the owner if I decline I will get a refund. She sent me the contract with the Google checkout logos and contract numbers and evrerything. Meanwhile I did go to Google and see if any such thing did exist and it did. The contract instructions she sent me told me to wire the $1600.00 through money gram and fax the receipt to a Google representative in Houston, TX. I did this on 11/13/11. I was supposed to take posession of the vehicle 11/16/11 no one ever showed up and I never heard anything else from these people. I did go to Google checkout to try and get a refund when I put in my contract number they informed me they don't us contract numbers of that sort. I knew then I had be taken advantage of.
