Received call from them saying that I would receive a $7000.00 grant. Had me send money to India in the amount of $130.00 plus western union fee. Said it was a charity. Did give debit card number etc. So far no charges. Could not verify phone numbers belonged to them or anyone. I was not at a place to verify information from them but when I called them back, that this is a scam. Got into that it wasn't and they assured me that it wasn't. Offered personal guarrantee. US Government Grant Department man's name was Calvin Smithm (202-609-7042). US Bank of New York was Mark Wilson (315-352-1357 ext 786). When, the "bank" there was as additional $389.00 security deposit to be sent to same place in India under another name. All men and even women that I talked to had heavy accents. Could be reason I was taken in that I could not understand everything and where I was at the time.
