Received pop-up message on my laptop about infection and to call 1-800 number. Led me to believe they were Microsoft techs. Tech Rep., said my network was hacked and there was a worm infection. He proceeded to tell me that it would cost $249.99 to fix it, told him did not have money on my card, but could pay it next week. I gave them a netspend card info that I had not activated, and they said I could pay then. The next day lady called to see if everything was okay and I asked her if she was with Microsoft and she said Rapid Technicians. I went online and there were many scam complaints about this company. I have reported to FTC, Attorney General, BBB, and now you.
