This was a class action lawsuit that happened because hp computers had several brands of laptops they were selling that had Amd Anthlon chips in them that were no good, I was a customer who purchased a laptop from them, when my chip went out they repaired it free of charge, but then my chip went out a 2nd time, except they refused to cover it the 2nd time. They said it would cost me $850 to repair it out of my pocket I rufused because their was no promises it would default a 3 rd time. I eventually threw the hunk of junk out because without the chip the screen wouldnt even turn on. (imagine keeping a tv that was broke and the screen wouldnt turn on...pointless..who would??) anyways class action lawsuit took place and lots of money was rewarded, however I didnt have my laptop anymore and even though I had my serial #'s and emails between me and Hewlett Packard about the 1st 2 incidents, and was a registered owner I didnt get reimbursed. I was so aggervated and so was alot of other people who got screwed!
