I won a watch for $5.99; shipping & handling. Somehow I ended up purchasing a pair of sunglasses for $5.95 as well. Ok. They both were chgd on my CC. I printed a screen shot of the items, charges & order id. The header; top left corner, read: luxury. Reward yourself by trying one of our luxury watches. Experience our new line with this special offer. Across the center: CONGRATULATIONS YOUR ORDER HAS BEEN PROCESSED! Not one mention of a 14 day cancellation policy. Nor on any of the 4 Emails sent to me from the company. This company lures shoppers in with false promises and deceptive sales practices.
Now, there is this 14 day policy under section B at the very bottom of the page in light gray type; where no one would ever notice, due to the ordering process at the top of the pg in bold black letters. When this page is printed; the "return/refund" 14 day cancellation policy DOES NOT PRINT. If this company was a legitimate above board company, they would not hide their policies. You would know exactly what you are getting into. Not deception then take advantage of your CC with outlandish charges for a free gift you won. They need pay. Financially, publicly, and not be able to start another business.
Jan 2017 They were called Luxury Lifestyles. By March 01, 2017, they are called Fashion Support Exchange. The website where I ordered the watch was http://secure lux order.com. lux for Luxury.
I talked to 4 different Middle Eastern 3rd party customer service reps. today. They could not cancel my account nor could they credit the CC back. What kind of Customer NO Service are they there for? They could not help me AT ALL. Reason: They are only 3rd party. One C/S girl did cancel my order, , to stop any more felonious charges to the CC. She also gave me the companies main web site, where I found the same 3rd party C/S number. Searching the small print I found the company real C/S number. This man, stayed to his script. Because my account was canceled, I was no longer a member and he could not help. Even if I were still a member, I was out side the refund/return time frame and there is nothing he can do. Over & over & over. He was trained well. I asked to talk to a supervisor, but as you would know, they ALL were busy helping other customers and I needed to call back. Something really needs to be done about these types of businesses. There are more with different legit businesses like, Walgreens, Cosco, CVS & Kohls. I noticed this today, while deleting all my emails, the fore mentioned businesses all had a free gift for me. Some were the same items to choose from, others had different items. It was all the same format. I think these good businesses should know what kind of deceptive illegitamate businesses they are linking their names with.
OK. My rant is over. Nothing may get done, but I do feel better complaining on this site. I am not finished. I am filing a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and the Department of Consumer Affairs, Customer Protection Unit. I'll shake a few trees and see what falls.
