I was a victim of internet and wire fraud by a girl named Michelle Le who lives in Orange Park, Florida. She also goes my Tram Le and she is Vietnamese. I believe she is in her mid-20s. Her sister Tien Le is an accomplice.

She and I met online and became close friends and she soon started making up stories about how she had open-heart surgery and could not afford to pay the medical bills. She also said her mom passed away recently. Because I am a compassionate person, I wanted to help her by sending her some money which I told her it was a loan and NOT a gift. I sent her money both in the form of wires and checks. Throughout the next 6 months, I sent her close to $60,000 of my own money. I eventually found out the girl I was talking to didn't even look like the person from the pictures she sent me. In addition, she disconnected her phone so that I could not reach her.

From the very beginning, she only had one objective and that was to scam me by making me feel sorry for her situation. I am sure she will do this to other guys if she thinks it's that easy to get the money. I am reporting this scam and hoping that someone else is a victim so that we can get her locked up!
