A Mr. Norman Armstrong called me on my home phone and told me he worked for the Fed. Gov'mt., and I had won $650,000.00. He went on to say that $200,000.00 had been taken out for GA. Fed. Taxes and my amount to be received would be $450,000.00. He instructed me to go to the bank and get $500.00 and then go to Wal-Mart and get a Money-Gram.and instructed me to call him on his cell when I got back in the car to fill out the Money-Gram so there would be no mistakes on where it was to be received. After the money was received he would be delivering my WINNINGS within 1-2HRS. He kept in contact & said we would go out to eat and celebrate. My husband has come home be that time and we were sitting & waiting for him. Of course, NO SHOW! He called back the next morning and said he had problems at the Atlanta Airport because of the amount of cash $50,000.00 I was to receive and the other $400,000.00 in Wells-Fargo Cashiers check. I was then put on the phone with a Brian Edwards W/U.S. Customs and that I would have to pay an additional $200.00 (he started off asking for $1298.00,then$998.00) and I told him/them I did not have or would not pay more cash without at least meeting w/one of them since they were now (they said at the La Fayette,GA airport.) The extra FEE was for an ARMORED CAR to deliver the CASH MONEY to me.I told them I could be there very soon, which I did and I spoke with the person who keeps record of who comes in and out of there (the Airport)and there had been no one by either names there either days.
