On Nov 8, 2011 I contacted a English Bulldog Rescue. I don’t know the exact site but these are the ones I visited; adopt-a-bulldog.adoptapet.com; ebullymatch.com; ilenglishbulldogrescue.com; petango.com; petfinder.com; rescuebulldogs.org; and victorypups.com searching for a English Bulldog for my husband for Veteren’s day being he is a Vet from the Marines. I received an email from a Heather Williams at [email protected] referring me to this guy. This is her email:
Hi,
I just got your email for the English bulldog puppies. I am sorry to say all the puppies have been booked. If you are really interested in getting one, I will direct you to the breeder from whom we bought the parents of our babies. He is a very good breeder and I think his pups can warm your heart. His name is Dr Rodriguez and his email address is [email protected] . He did send to us some pictures of available puppies and I have attached them. If you contact him, do tell him that it's Heather, Williams wife from Rhodes Island who has directed you to him. He said the adoption price was $450. Make sure to tell him that you are not a breeder and only wants the puppy for a pet at home Best wishes, Heather
So I contacted him and he responded with the same pictures that were attached with Heather’s email saying the exact same as her pretty much. Being that she contacted me through one of the rescue sites I didn’t think of this being a scam. Once talking with the seller he said I could pay $250 up front through Western Union (MTCN 424-467-5065-proof of payment ID) and then the other $200 in 3 weeks. On 11/10/11 he set me up to make the payment to Blue Air Ship, Attn: Nguyen Tat Thang, Address: Blue Airship, Nguyen Kiem, City: Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, phone number: 855-693-4440. There was a fee of $12.50 for this transaction. I received the registration number from him for the shipment of 10043CA/BAS. I sent the first payment 11/10/11, received an email from Nathan from Blue Air Ship confirming that payment was received and I could expect the flight itinerary at 6:00am cst on 11/11/11. At 6:57am 11/11/11 I checked my email to find that I needed to purchase insurance and rent a crate for $390. Both fees to be refunded once the dog arrived at Austin Straubel Airport, that is per Lou from Blue Air Ship. I sent that payment at 8:05am cst from Kmart in Ashwaubenon, WI (MTCN 734-961-2772) with a fee of $19.50. I never received confirmation of this payment and most of the communication stopped here. I have chat messages with Blue Air Ship with Lou saved saying I would be refunded, I have emails from the seller, Nathan of Blue Air Ship, Heather Williams and Lou of Blue Air Ship. I have phone records of all the calls I made to them as well. I contacted IPATA in regards to this since that is one of the Associations listed on the Blue Air Ship website, blueairship.com. They never responded and actually if you call them it states that if there is a scam you are to email them. I did that and received it back as undeliverable. I called Hector International Airport in Fargo, ND to check shipment, I talked to United Airlines (800-825-3788), American Airlines (800-227-4622-Vicky) and Delta Airlines (800-352-2746-Reuben) and all said no shipment was scheduled. Reuben also mentioned that as of Feb 2011 English Bulldogs are illegal to ship via flight due to respiratory problems. I called the Board of Veterinarians in ND (ph 701-328-9540) and there is no Vet by the name of Dr. Paul Rodriguez in the entire state. I called Fargo Police Department (ph 701-241-1437) and spoke with Josh who stated for me to file an incident with my local authorities and the investigators here would reach out to the investigators there. To hold on to all documents and work with them. I filed the incident on 11/13/11 (incident # 11-18532, Ashwaubenon Police Department Investigation phone number 920-492-2995, Address: 2155 Holmgren Way, Ashwaubenon, WI 54304. Officer Larson was the officer who worked with me and also reverted me to this site and to check ripoff.com as this seller is reported on there from someone else – tracking number 778952. All the communication with the Seller on the phone started on 11/8/11 and ended on 11/10/11. Blue Air Ship was still responding on 11/11/11 via chat. Since then, no communication and no puppy. I am out a total of $672.00. Have a heart broken family, over 30 hours into this situation and going to have a very large cell phone bill being all long distance calls. I want this jerk caught, I want my money back, I want him to get the maximum penalty for this. If he, the shipping company and Heather Williams are all separate people, they should all pay.
Also on 11/13/11 in front of Officer Larson I called the seller from my phone, he has my number blocked and I get a busy signal. I called him again from another phone number and was able to get to his voicemail to let him know that I will be taking him down! I hope you can help me. Anything would be greatly appreciated!!!
