Tonight I jumped through the appropriate hoops to search info on myself, then waited as different windows on the search progress looked like info was being gathered and legitimate looking questions were asked about how the info would be used, etc. Then the process seemed to have frozen in place. It was too late -9:15 pm or so- to stop payment via my debit card.
