They called saying they are from MARRIOTT hotel. Promised Vacation Certificate for over 60 resorts in 10+ countries with an added bonus of a free 8 night cruise. ALL INCLUSIVE except a one off $99 booking fee. They didn't say the promotional package doesn't include resort taxes, wi-fi etc.
They asked if I was a US citizen and I explained I am from another country on a work visa and only a temporary resident. They told me that was fine I still qualify as long as I have a SSN, reside in states, US credit card.
So I purchased the "certificate" only to be advised by the bookings department that I do not qualify as I am not a US citizen and they will allow me to stay in only a few of the "promotional partner" resorts, also I don't qualify for cruise.
They also charged my credit card twice for the vacation certificate on two separate dates.
