It was a job offer on Craigslist.org (I know, I know), but my husband and I did all our research after finding more about it to see if we could find any other report scam or something not legit about it. Once they sent us a cashier's check for $2,755 and had us deposit it and then withdrawal the money and MoneyGram it to a "dealer" in Connecticut, I knew something was up. I immediately let my bank know, but it doesn't look like much is going to happen, since we are now liable and have to pay our bank back!!!

- Thank you Amanda, and others, for posting Coleco Company. I received a job offer with them (COLORADO) - seemed hinky so did some research and confirmed my suspicions. Thank you Scambook for the opportunity to let us know the pitfalls!

Same thing here, I was also offered a job in Colorado with Coleco. Way to good to be true and very suspicious. As soon as they asked who I banked with as part of the interview questions I knew something was up. FYI - it was also from a job posted on Craiglist. -

- So I had the same thing, I live in Colorado and had an IM conversation with the guy from personell.. it does sound way too good but IDK the money transfer through Moneygram seems a little iffy but IDK can somebody give me advice or something?

They were asking to do money transfers with Western Union during my IM with the personnel guy. When they wouldnt give any contact information besides another IM or tell me where they were located I couldnt go through with it.
I know times are tough but I couldnt imagine taking the chance and making things worse. -
