I accessed this site that when attempting to search the California DMV on the internet. this site is the first to come up in the search engine and it was titles californiadrivers.org It appeared to be a link to the DMV and I was searching for a way to request new replacement tags. I followed the bold link to "replace registration" and entered my credit card info for the payment. I was immediately charged $2.99 and a "information pamphlet " opened up.... I thought WTF? I was pissed that I had entered and paid in the wrong site but it was only $2.99..... lesson learned right? well the next day I was charged $19.99! for what is this? some kinda of monthly service.. I went back to the site and there is no one to call, no address, and no indication if this is a monthly subscription fee and how to cancel if it is..... I am so pissed! I noticed my bank to try to stop the payment and notify them of fraudulent charges.
