I have been a victim of an internet scam with exactclub.com. I filled out a purchase order on Oct 8, 2011 and sent in my payment through Western Union on Oct 10, 2011. Lisa Smith who is the sales representative told me that my item will be mailed out 3-5 days after payment. I have given her my payment receipt showing payment so the company will deliver the item.
One week later she indicated that the item was damaged because of a car accident and it will take another 7 days before they will deliver it. Checked after one week, and no tracking or invoice number of delivery. After getting a hold of her again on-line, she then told me that the item was in customs and I now had to pay a $160 custom fee inorder for them to ship it out. I then went back to Western Union and paid the $160 custom fee that same day.
After a week of not receiving the tracking and invoice number, I got back on-line with Lisa Smith and she told me that the shipping agency is on a 5 day Holiday. I waited another 5 days and got back on-line and Lisa Smith again told me they were still on holiday vacation. Finally yesterday, she told me that the shipping agency was back to work today. So I went back on-line and Lisa Smith told me that my item was damaged again and that I can not get my money back until end of next month.
In the meantime when she told me the shipping agency was on Holiday, in the "sendgoods" on their website, it continues to show they are shipping items out.
As I continue to pursue of getting my item shipped she then tells me that I will be receiving a tracking and invoice number on November 2, 2011.
So when I went back on-line to ask about the status of my item, she told me they are checking in customs and it will be another 5 days before they will ship my item.
On November 8, 2011, Lisa Smith emailed me stating that my item will be shipped on November 12, 2011 and I will be receiving my tracking and invoice number. After contacting her on-line today, November 12, 2011, she now tells me the shipping agency put my wrong address on the receipt. Now they have to get the item back and then resend. It is amazing how many excuses this company has given me as to why it has not been shipped.
I have demanded a refund of my money immediately.
Lisa Smith kept telling me that their company is honest and legal. I hope someone will investigate their company and shut them down if this is in fact a scam.
