88 year old mother called to order a bedspread. After giving her credit card number for the purchase, the fast talking salesperson Offered her a prescription discount plan for $29.99. She told him she had Medicare and military tri-care that covers all her medical and prescription needs he said things about her coverage and
confused her and coerced here into buying their discount and set up a monthly charge on her credit card for $29.99. She smelled a scam and called her son who quickly called the company and voiced the complaint. The service person apologized and called it unethical conduct and canceled the charges. I wonder how many seniors can't see the scam and they get away with it. They also see supplies to seniors in the name of Doctor .....something.
