Is it a scam? The London rooms scam?
I saw the advert posted in Gumtree for job position in The London rooms. I decided to apply for the vacant position, because it was stated in there that we can earn as much money as we want to. So I applied for it and then on the following day, they contacted me for interview. I was with 5 other candidates. The questions they asked were standard, what they usually ask you in an interview – your personal information, your goals, motivation pretty much to cover basic and main information about you, I have to admit it was professional. The following day after that, they contacted me and told me my application was approved and I passed the interview successfully. Next thing was to start working. They started training me for sales techniques, ways on how to improve your people skills. In the office there are 15 brokers, oh but they are SOOOOO competitive… I was like “oh I gotta fit somehow this is not gonna work if I keep it like that”. For example the first days I was working only 8 hours per day, than I noticed that people around me work more than 8, they reach for 9-10… and surprisingly they even worked Saturday overheard them talking they will meet than, so for me it was very challenging I wasn’t used to such thing, but I wanted the money I am not going to lie, so I stayed more and it did pay off, I couldn’t believe it how much more work I had done with just extending my day with 1 hour and working Saturday as well, for my first 10 days I rented 8 rooms and as that follows I kept on doing it more and more. Now I am not saying it is easy, the ones who started with me already gave up, because they didn’t put the extra effort that the job required and it is not that they require it from you, but in order to make money you have to sacrifice your time. It is not scam, experienced it first handedly, but it definitely is not for people who have weak hearts and no motivation at all!
