This company has contacted delegates of our conference by phone stating that they are connected with the conference organisers and that they are offering official conference accommodation. Since there is no official conference accommodation for this conference and neither the owning societies nor the conference management company have had any contact with the company this is clearly fraudulent. Their normal pattern of charging large sums for hotels which may be booked for less and significant booking fees which they refuse to return on cancellation has caused significant loss and upset to our delegates.
