Complaint 339083 Details

I was reviewing my checking account and noticed three electronic checks made out to VOIP8003154730 for $39.75 each. I called the number and they explained that they were a phone company. I do not know where they recieved my information or who gave them consent to charge my checking account. The customer service person stated that I had never used the service but had been charged three times to date. They told me they would cancel my service and refund my money. I hope this is true. I should have never been charged in the first place since I never signed up for any type of phone service. I already have a cell phone and home phone service. I still would like to know how they got my information to begin with. They had my email address, and checking account information. Scary....
