Craigslist ad for warehouse assistant. Hunter contacted me to purchase art for him and was very vague on details. He wrote a cashiers check and asked me to cash it immediately and send it to someone he was buying from that was on a trip to South Africa. Asked me to take out the cash and keep $400 for myself and send the money via moneygram. The check bounces after a few weeks because it's a falsified cashiers check and then he goes off the grid and you are held responsible for the $1990 that was held against your bank account while he gets away with $1590 free in cash. Do not fall for his scam - he uses a phone number set up with google voice in order to keep anonymity.
