I paid for my trip in full 1 year in advance and was told by EF Tours customer service Jeremy that my fee can not by increased. Four months before the trip, EF Tours send me a bill for an increase in departure fee of $170. I called and another EF Tours customer service Kevin told me that the Jeremy failed to explain to me that the departure fee can be increased even though they received my payment in full a year in advance. EF Tours was unethically and fraudulently cheat their customers in a legal way as they send me zero balance invoices and on the back of my invoiced indicated they reserve the right to increase the departure fee regardless it has been paid in full. Travelers, be aware of this scam and don't let EF Tours foul you into pay them in advance as they reserve the right to increase your fees any way. And if you cancel, they make ton of money by ripping you off with heavy cancellation fees.
