Received an email offeringan IPhone for $1.00. I accepted the offer and followed the instructions checking all the ancillary offers and declining. Site said FREE!!!
Authorised a $1.00 payment (with Credit card details}. Immediate deduction of A$1 on my bank site. This deduction is still pending. Two days later another deduction of A$58,92 (also pending). This appears to be a monthly deduction. I emailed the site and cancelled the payment after realizing that it was a scam. Got a reply saying they would contact me via phone or email. As yet nothing. I will go to my bank today and stop the payment.
