Basically we went through the entire presentation. Of course high pressure. When we were very hesitate w were told that we had nothing to lose because after 2 years if we didn't use the membership we could sell it back to Ocean Canyon. So we believed we didn't have anything to lose. We also wanted to get additional miles on our credit card but were told we could use a new card and delay payment for 6 months. Both LIES. When we received the first statement on the new charge card we called to discuss the 6 month payment delay. We were told that didn't exist. So we called the property to discuss that and at that time were also told that the 2 year out option wasn't exiting either.The manager who made the deal was gone, surprise surprise. After many letters, phone calls with customer service we were told sorry we get to eat the membership.To make matters worst my husband died August 2012.I gave our RV away to a niece in southern Florida who couldn't use this membership. I sent the death certificate and another request to get out of this membership. They simple sent me copies saying sorry we can't do anything so just sell it with a transfer fee. I can't even give it away. Now I'm 66, no RV and still paying a steadily increasing maintenance fee annually. WHAT A REAL RIP OFF !!!!!
