I ordered and paid (on time) monthly for yellow page advertising for my business for the fiscal AT&T year July 2010 - June 2011. I was contacted by AT&T Rep John Snuggs in Late March regarding renewal, and after two months of very aggressive and insulting comments, refusal to quote smaller sizes of advertising, sending me six copies of a 7 page fax of the smaller ads he had worked up that he didnt want to send me, and refusal to assign me to another, more professional and considerate Representative, I clearly told this representative in a call that was supposed to be recorded that I did not want to work with him or AT&T any further, that I wanted to cancel ALL further advertising with them immediately. He hung up on me, so I called him back but got his voice mail, which had his supervisors name and number in the message. I tried five different times on different days to reach this supervisor to discuss how I had been treated, and to make sure that my advertising had been cancelled, but each time his voicemail said," the voicemail is full, please try your call again later." So, I just gave up. When I started receiving BILLS for the advertising that was renewed in spite of my cancellation, I started calling AT&T to resolve this. I have spent over 4 hours of time on calls to 7 different representatives, customer service supervisors, and a collections and not one of them who stated they would research the account and look for the voice recording or a signature has ever gotten back with me as stated they would. I have continued to call AT&T each month when I receive this bill for services I did not approve and actually CANCELLED all further business with, and after 6 months of trying to get this claim "escallated", it is still not resolved. I cancelled all my advertising with the representative that was assigned to me, then tried to follow up with his supervisor 5x, then have continued to call them to get this account closed and they just keep passing me on to someone else, as the bills keep coming. I have worked hard to keep excellent credit, and have never had a problem with any other company like this. I need help from some kind of governing agency that oversees unauthorized AT&T bills for services that were cancelled by the customer. This is harrassment, and fraudulent, and I dont have time to continue to spend with representatives that will not resolve this wrongful charge.
