I purchased 1 bottle of Garcinia online, 11/9/14, it was offered as a free trial, however, I had to pay the shipping & handling, which was, $4.95. I paid this with my debit card, then, 11/25/14, there was an amount deducted from my bank for $88.49, when I called the number associated with this transaction, they told me that the transaction was from their 'sister' company, so, they gave me that phone number. When I called the 'sister' company number, I was told that the $88.49 was charged because I didn't cancel my trial offer. I was not aware that I had to cancel anything, so I asked that the charges be removed, because I did not authorize this transaction. I was told that this is the price for the bottle that I purchased. I told them that I would send it back and would like a refund, because I hadn't opened the bottle yet, still has the seal on it, because I just received it last week and was going to show it to my doctor before I start taking it. I was told that they had to receive it by Friday, well, then, I got suspicious and researched the company. I found that there was another complaint and that person sent their's back and never received a refund. I think more people would've complained, but, the BBB never heard of this company, probably, because of the spelling, CLEASE as opposed to CLEANSE. I will continue my investigation, because I don't want others to be scammed as I felt like I was.
