Hi guys, this company advertises rooms to let out on gumtree and other websites. I was desperate for a room and made a deposit quickly. the agent brought a tenancy agreement which was not good for a tenant because so many things to pay and yet they advertise something else. I said I did not accept agreement as they wanted 2 month rent plus deposit! it was too much to pay. Agent said ok, but they will not refund the deposit i had just paid!! i had no choice because i could not accept to leave my deposit. The house was horrible, dirty and no maintenance done in years. they said they'll come and fix things and paint but nothing! i lived there for 3 months and i was really tired of it. now, 2 months after i left, they have not refunded my deposit which was same for one month rent!! all telephone contacts are not going through but i looked up and down and found their office at cannon street. this building is going to be demolished soon. at the office, they were interviewing agents. be warned not to live in their houses or work for them because i have made complaint with police.
