I am selling a wedding dress on Craigslist and this phone number sent me texts trying to SCAM me. Beware!
Scammer: Hi. I'm Michelle Jones. I like the wedding dress. It is perfect for my auditioning. Am ready to make payment. Is there any discount? What is your final price?
Me: $350
Scammer: Am ok with price. I will mail you the dress and also for the pickup at your location or a public place the moment you have it cashed. How should your name appear on the payment?
Me: This seems off
Scammer: payment?
(I do not respond.)
Scammer: The payment will be inform of certified check. Payment will clear before I pick the dress, so you have nothing to worry about. How should your name appear on
Me: I have reported your number for SCAMMING!
