Someone from this company called saying that they purchased a payday loan account from a Shoreline payday loan company and am trying to retrieve funds that are due. They said that the loan amount was $200.00 but they are asking for $280.00. They also stated that the loan was deposited into my bank account on May, 2011, but I called the bank in which they said was listed on the application, and the bank says that my bank account was not opened until December 06, 2011. How can a company deposit funds into an account that did not exist? I did, however apply for loans after the account was opened, so how they got my information before that time is beyond me.
