I wanted to acquire an e-book about marketing. In order to get it had to sign up to www.tailplay.net for a trial account. I was eventually billed 15 euros because the cancellation was unsuccessful. There is strong reason to believe this is deliberate and was never supposed to successful. (Scambook has other complaints that contain this websites name)

After signing up on Sept 21, I discovered they did not provide the book, so I immediately wanted to unsubscribe. On their "Support page" it says I need to pay 1 dollar to "Express Cancellation" via form, or for free by calling or sending an email.

Since I live in Estonia, the price of the call would have been bigger than a dollar. I decided to email them and for this they have a link right next to the phone numbers. The link takes me to a page saying "send us an email by choosing from below." When I chose the "cancellation" option, no new options appeared, yet there was a green button "cancel membership."

I thought this was it, because nowhere on the website their email is given to send it manually from my email account. Furthermore, there isn't one under "about us" either or anywhere else. But apparently I was converted to a premium account after the 5 day trial expired on Sept 26 and on Oct 2 a bill of 14.95€ was taken from my card. The website was deliberately misleading, giving no way to unsubscribe and by giving a fake/broken unsubscribe tool.
