I misdialed a State Farm Rewards card activation hotline & wound up being connected to this.... Of course, while under the impression I was activating a State Farm Rewards card, I simply assumed the "Congrats! You've been selected to recieve a $100 Walmart gift card!" prompt was just an additional reward from State Farm. Upon following the prompts I was connected with a man who barely spoke English. I am assuming from what ive read in these complaints, he was Indian.....? Anyhow he pressured me into this scam, ensuring me I would receive a walmart GIFT CARD in the mail for $100. I agreed to the 5.95$ shipping charge stupidly... & THANKFULLY gave him the information off of the gift card I had received thru State Farm. I asked for more information & he was very reluctant to answer. He would not tell me his name, nor the company he worked for... which made me uneasy. Before we hung up, he asked for a confirmation email address (previously asked for home address) so he could mail me my "membership info"... meanwhile I feel bad that I have had to ask him approx 10x to repeat himself because he barely speaks english. I had already made up my mind that I had made a mistake. As soon as I hung up with him I called state farm, cancelled the gift card, & called the "company" back to cancel any bullshit they were trying to pull.

After I connected with someone, it was yet again a man who spoke little english. The conversation was harsh on my end, because he was extremely rude. From what I gathered this is a "company" based out of Jacksonville FL. He refused to give me his name & was extremely rude once I demanded it be cancelled or I would pursue legal action. He continued to try to explain to me the "benefits" of this "service" & I continued to demand to have it cancelled. He began to become hostile & said to me, "How many time I need to tell you dat dis service is for help of american people? Dis good ting. You american people can not have monies! You have money trouble. Get dis trew yourre head! I not tell you again. You need dis program. You american? Den you have monies troubles!!" I informed him I was also recording the call & he started yelling, "Have good day! Have good day! Good Bye! Good Bye! In basically inaudible "english" & hung up on me. It is a scam for sure. 5 minutes later I received a cancellation confirmation to my email.

Beware of this scam. I can't believe I was so stupid!
