Due to a gas leak on August 18,we have been without gas in our home. My husband is not in good health and is blind. For two days, our building inspector has given us a tag that said the leak was fixed. After many, many calls to SW Gas, we were told that the inspectors report was was not showing up in their system. He filed the "ok" again today at noon. By 4:30 pm this afternoon, it was still not showing up in their system. Then we were told it would take 2 business days for them to restore our gas to our home once it was found in the system. It will soon be three weeks that we have had this problem. No hot water, no dryer, no range, cold showers and a lot of eating out. I don't know who enters the "go ahead and turn it on" at SW Gas, but they certainly take their sweet time. The time spent just trying to talk to a real person, who, by the way, is not in the Las Vegas office, who doesn't know how to do much but spew the company line is so very aggravating. But the incredible thing about the gas leak, 4 large leaks were found on the SW Gas Meter!!
