Got an e-mail stating I won a lottery prize of US$1,200,00.00 and that I was to contact a Mr. Tan Matthew at e-mail [email protected] as he was the co-ordinator for the Asia Pacific Lottery Association. I then got an e-mail from this Tan Mathew stating Australia fell in the Asia Pacific Region and asked me to send full details of myself, my bank account details, ID card like Drivers Licence, which I did e-mail to him. I then received an e-mail from a Mrs.Teresa Lim, Director Foreign Operations/International Remittance Department, Kasikorn Bank, Thailand, telling me that they were serving as international offshore payment bankers to Asia Pacific Lottery org. and confirmed that they received US$1,200,00.00 to be credited to my bank account here in Australia.I furnished all particulars, and then came another e-mail asking me to send US$750 in Thai currency to :
Victor Bangura
No.1 South-East, Sathorn Road,Bangkok 10120 Thailand.
Position of receiver: Secretary
Country of receiver .. Kingdom of Thailand
I did send the money as asked, and then came another e-mail asking me to send another amount of US$950 as Cost of Transfee to another person. This money I have not sent and don't intend to. However, I just went on Google and opened Asia Pacific International Org. and discovered that a Miss Young reported the same scam, the e-mail she got is identical to the one I received in every respect, received by her on the 22nd.February 2011. I would like my money of US$750 to be refunded to me
