My friend and I were walking towards the Macy's at Alderwood mall when a salesperson from the spa and beauty kiosk started hounding us to try his product. My friend and I wanted to leave but to be nice we let him try his Vivo Per Lei face peel and night cream on my friend. Before our eyes we were seeing the dead skin coming off of her arms. He told us that he would give us the package for $100 and we said we couldn't do that since we were college students. Upon hearing this the sales manager immediately said that he would give us a deal and make the package $70 or each product $45. I started reasoning with him since he seemed to be willing to alter the price so easily and tried to get him to tell me what the real price was. He was adamant that $70 was the base price. I thought that I might as well give it a try since I saw it work. After I bought it my friend looked up the two products on Amazon and told me that they were $4 and then $10. I went back to the vendor to ask for a refund since he ripped me off and he insisted that the product on Amazon was fake. That didn't make since since on Amazon the prodcut had a four and a half star rating from almost 200 people. I told him that he didn't have proof that the other product was fake and I wanted my money back since I didn't open the product and it was literally five minutes since I bought it. He said no, that there are no refunds and I thought this was ridicuclous because if he was so sure of his product then he should have no problem letting customers return products they are unsatisfied with. Then, unbelievably, he begins to talk to another girl around my age and tries to sell the product to her! I was so enraged at this con man that I showed the girl the Amazon product and told her about the scam. She gladly thanked me and left and the sales person flipped out on me and then reported me to his mamanger. His manager told me I was rude and didn't know how to negotiate. I told him that I was trying to reason with them but apparrently they weren't well versed in customer service. Finally the sales manager gave me a customer service contact. Their customer service apparently is only an email, no phone number. How sketchy is that?! I have emailed them and no one has gotten back to me. I still have not used their procut. Please prevent this company from scamming more people!!!
